Welcome to the ISA Website!

An information centre for low-calorie sweeteners, their regulatory status, their science and their role in weight control, diabetes and dental health.

The International Sweeteners Association (ISA) is committed to increasing public awareness of the useful role that low-calorie sweeteners can play in a modern, balanced diet. We serve as a major source of information for regulators, science groups, health professionals, media and the end consumer.

To this end, we produce information material on a variety of relevant subjects and maintain relations with regulatory bodies, legislative institutions and policy makers. Any information emanating from the ISA is based on the latest scientific evidence.

The ISA Website covers all aspects of low-calorie sweeteners: their safety, their approval for use in various markets, and their role in a world which increasingly focuses on weight control, nutrition and dieting. On this site you can access relevant online material, download presentations and publications as well as search for answers to your questions on low-calorie sweeteners.
